Proposal: Transport route mapping

Note: This is not strictly 'coding' but it does involve a markup language, mapping, and maybe travel.

So, I have these KML files of Rawalpindi-Islamabad Public Transport Routes (https://github.com/govdotpk/transportation). And this is what I want to do with them.

1) Complete them. The current routes are based on what information one can find online, and what is observable. But these routes only partially cover the full gamut of the public transport infrastructure. I know from personal experience that there are or used to be many more routes, including those plied by the Suzuki's. So the first order of business would be to identify all such routes.

2) Tag them. We need to tag each route with specifics; e.g. stops, directions, vehicle types (bus, van, pickup), fares, etc. I don't need to tell you the benefits of such an exercise.

3) Design them. The third act of our story will be to design them (https://www.google.com/search?q=public+transport+maps&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X), for which hopefully we'll find time in the two days that we have.

== Post hackathon ==

4) Print them. Finally, we'll seek CfP's help to find funds for the printing, framing, and deployment of these maps on every bus stop in Rawalpindi and Islamabad.

5) In the long run, hopefully, these maps can be used to plan and improve upon the existing routes.
